Louis Theroux new series. Polyamory episode. Weird people in Oregon. Isn't this just new age hippies? Still, kudos to Theroux for making these thought provoking programs.

Very interesting Horizon (BBC) on laughter/humour. Jimmy Carr hosts, not a comedy program but some humour included.

Watched the first episode of "The Handmaid's Tale". Bejesus ! Who watches this stuff ? It's a book I've meant to read, and still may do so, but watching a whole series or two that grim psychotic...

I certainly am! I don't watch much TV, but Homeland is a show I really enjoy. It's on Sunday nights here, which is a nice end to the weekend.

They definitely could have done that. Felt a bit of 'watchers remorse' at the end, knowing that I invested about ten hours into a fairly basic premise and plot.

TV program called "Abandoned" had an interesting episode on abandoned villages in Newfoundland. Might appeal to AX or others interested in Canadian geography...?

Well, yes, not quite so stylised in the hospital. It's probably more the visual cruelty that I find hard than the actual injury.
