We are on exactly the same timeline. App received 15th May, sponsor approved 27th August. Crossing fingers ours moves from app received to in process soon!

If you partner has PR Card already there should be no problem at all going seperately if thats what you need to do.

the only difference is I cannot work and I am permitted to stay only for 6 months. if my PR Card hasnt arrived by then i have to apply for an extension. Other than that they were really good...
