Don't particularly want to sit on a beach when it's sunny.

It often seems that sitting on a beach or by a pool, or worse still a BBQ:sick: is many people's idea of an 'outdoor lifestyle'.

Used to stay there in an apartment when we visited for a few years...handy for the ferry to the centre.

The apartments have all been pulled down now:(

I also think Brisbane is like a big country town and I won't miss it.....but I have not been to another Autralian town which I like any better.

I prefer UK cities:thumbup:

Not all of us are 'torn'....many are quite clear about where they would prefer to be.

Uprooting and moving after a few years is not as simple a process as some would have you believe.

Why would I want to live in Melbourne?......we only came here because one of our sons lives here and he lives in Brisbane.

Would never have come if he wasn't here....it really is...

That's one of the things we are looking forward to when we return to England.....some decent weather to get out and about in....we have had More than enough of the Queensland climate:thumbdown:
