Netherlands has no capital gains tax, but does have a brutal [defacto] wealth tax. So move there, sell your shares, then move on.
Monaco is great for tax they say, but a broom closet there will cost...

Is the lawyer a tax specialist? Does he/she have experience with immigrants and their international tax liabilities?
I know people think "lawyer" means all knowledge of law, but in reality tax...
