Just to give people a time line... I finally received my PR card in the mail... took 3 months :huh:

Now I can road trip the states!!

Has anyone who got their COPR and 'Landed' got their PR CARD in the Mail?

I 'Landed' April and which was 72 days ago... Every time I get close they update it and extend the processing times.......

You don't actually need your pr card unless you travel outside of Canada. .
I used my copr paper to get a new sin number the following day and I recently managed to renew my ohip ( Ontario health...

As others have said.. Do not withdraw your application until your MP gets a response...
I never actually got sponsor approval until i contacted the call centre 3 times... The agent informed me...

Sorry for confusion but I got an email requesting passports photos which I guess is a great sign...

But my application is being sent to Ottawa..even though the call centre said mississauga..

I was informed my application was approved in feb and is being processed in Mississauga.

And they need no further information from me :thumbsup:

Got confirmation from the Call Centre that my Sponsorship was approved on Feb 27th!!!!
And My application is staying in CANADA...

I have not heard anything since then :unsure:


however the processing times on the cic website says...

How do you know which office your app has been sent too? I assumed they are sent to Mississauga then next they are sent to the office you stated on the...
