He only has until September 6th and the next available appointment to land without crossing a border is September 9th, that's why we have to look into other ways

So, we have to flagpole and we don't really know the logistics. we live in Ottawa but we don't drive. All the closer border crossings you need a car. So we were thinking of bussing to Niagara Falls...

Checked ECAS and it says decision made. Now for the long agonizing wait to hear if it's good news or bad. This is almost worse than the wait at the beginning...now it's do or die :S ack

UK is average? He provided a police check with his application. Would it maybe be a Canadian background check, from when he was here for a year?

Anyone know why CIC would request new passport photos? We sent them off about a month ago, haven't heard anything. Very frustrating. Was just curious as to why they needed more in the first place

It seems like everyone is getting Decision Made but us :( Even people who applied in 2014 are through and we're not. I don't get it. We've emailed CIC and they don't ever respond. Very frustrating

I'm also an outstanding November application. A few weeks ago they requested new passport pictures. Not sure what that means but maybe just maybe they're starting to look at our application.....

The CIC requested new passport photos today. Does that mean they're actually looking at our application???
