Robin, I hope you have a lot of money saved for retirement. They say you will need a lot more than you think and friends have told me this is so. What about medical insurance, for example?

I loved McGill's postcards as a kid and I would imagine they are very valuable today. There was so much innuendo in them without them being in the least bit offensive.

I will not shop at a grocery store unless it has self-checking. It makes me cringe to see a packer man-handling expensive fruit and veggies.

My pet peeve is people who buy a few items at the grocery store, but then self-check them at the non-express line. So I have to stand behind them with a full grocery cart whilst they check through...

I'm guilty of doing that. When I'm in CVS, the cashiers often call that out and the customers just stand there like they're afraid to leave the line they're already in. Not me, I want to get out of...

I used to try that with my husband. But then we ended up being one hour late for events rather than 30 minutes late.
