The flippin' heating oil went way up just as we reloaded.. made me think of you guys. I suppose you won't have to deal with that this year though!

That's probably part of the plan.
It's another one of those geography things. A much smaller place that doesn't require a car to get to the mailbox, KWIM.

I only need to load up the 2X per year now. I'll check it again & fill up in the spring if the price is super low. Otherwise I've got my eye on my neighbor's tankful that he's not using anymore. :)

And get this.. heating oil today: $1.67/gallon!
It's the lowest price in four solid years.

I heard that on the radio yesterday, with the additional info that the last time it was at that price was November 02. The DH has been swearing we'll never see gas at the price it was when he moved...

We ended up bringing in 200 gals at $2.80 in mid October. I really really wanted to wait to closer to the election because of the price trend, but we're doing some work...

It was $2.25 at our Costco yesterday but my gods, you should've seen the lines!
I think I would have burned through half a tank just waiting.

$2.39 at the regular station down the road.
