AFAIK they should still have the 30 day vignette placed in their passports. Have their passports been returned from Sheffield without vignettes?

The BRP is in lieu of a vignette in your wife's passport. She will need to carry both together when travelling in and out of the UK and as evidence of her immigration status in the UK. The UK only...
