Re: Dual Citizenship A Barrier ?

A US social security number has nothing to do with the 'rights and privileges ' of being a US citizen. They are issued to both citizens and non-citizens. I would concur on your second point though.

Re: Dual Citizenship A Barrier ?

A US social security number is not going to disqualify you under Section 44. Clutching at straws there but Mr Hinch appears to have a reputation that proceeds him so is likely to have people gunning...

Re: Dual Citizenship A Barrier ?

Sudmalis could not be a British citizen by descent as British women were unable to pass on their citizenship to their children before 1 January 1983. The only way she could have became a British...

Re: Dual Citizenship A Barrier ?

All I have is the law which is all there is. There's nothing complex about it beyond your refusal to accept the blindingly obvious. The rest of your comments on this thread suggest you have a dog in...

Re: Dual Citizenship A Barrier ?

That or it actually confirms what has already been said repeatedly.

Sigh. Everyone living in the British Empire was a British subject until 1949 and then they weren't. Unless he naturalised as...

Re: Dual Citizenship A Barrier ?

No, I said the opposite of that. Joyce's father would not have received Australian citizenship in 1949 as he had not resided in Australia long enough to be eligible. He would have only been eligible...
