Looks positive to me but the only snag is will they extend medical expiry date or have you do another medical. So any COPR form issued from today would expire the same date as the Medical date unless...

Not quite correct. Both a new Immigrant or Former Resident of Canada have to meet the 6 month ownership, possession and use requirements of any goods being imported i.e it cannot be just bought and...

They usually ask for copies of passport pages not the actual passport for UK citizens.

Just ask for your partner for their credit card and inform them you will be back in say 3 hours. Biometrics should be less than 2 hours hell if no long forms to fill in and no wait then can be done...

Where do you live? Its doable if within the same area and 1st appointment is say 9am and last one is 4pm. I know the medical won't take all day.

But from November to December you are only entering as a visitor. Its not your intention to stay permanently until January. You can mention it to CBSA but tell them you are returning to the UK on X...

Normally UK citizens only provide a copy. Re read the letter.

You may need a police certificate from any country or territory that you have spent six months or more since the age of 18.

For example: if you visited, worked or lived in a country for two...

If not planning to move in March then I wouldn't be worrying too much at this stage and its possible you might have COPR form by then.

Dual Intent is not a given plus moving personal possessions...

It doesn't matter as question 12 is not specific as opposed to question 8 where it states start with the most recent.

As long as you are accompanying a Canadian citizen outside of Canada then you will meet the Canadian PR residency obligation.
No idea about the UK one.
There is no Canadian law that says you can't...

Yes but take a copy of your COPR with you if driving in a private vehicle.
If using the train, ferry or bus you will need the PR card as they are still commercial carriers.

Permanent residents...
