We applied to the Durham office from the USA, I think the US is a low risk country hence the speed. We didn't need any interviews and our countersignature was not contacted.

It is much slower when applying from anywhere outside the UK. I'm in the US - we are on week 9 too.

Thanks, I meant I could see the payment charge on my credit card before I had even shipped off the declaration form and all my supporting documents.

I am just starting this process just now for my baby (we are in the US)
I completed the online application yesterday (June 12th), I'm sorting out the countersignatory just now and then will pop it...
