I can't fault all the treatment we have received but I also know that as good as our insurance is it has also cost us an excessive amount of money to receive the treatment. I worry...

I grew up with the 12 days also. Christmas Eve was when the Christmas Tree was decorated and all decorations stayed up until 12th Night which is January 6th.

Never really thought about this before...

Don't look at them as mistakes. Look at it as an adventure that let you experience a different life and made you appreciate the life you had previously taken for granted.

A piece of friendly advise..I would follow up with your primary care doctor in a couple of days if you are still not comfortable. Sometimes it needs swelling and bruising to go down before other...

How old were you when you left the UK? If you were old enough to work, even if it was part time when you were still in school then you will have a NI#.

If you didn't work when you were there then...

Jobs are not that easy to find nowadays, especially when you get to a certain age.

I assume you are either retired or have been in a comfortable job position for a long time?

Yeah, I loved the mangle my mum used when I was younger. Still remember the pain when my thumb jammed in it when I was "helping" her to wring the water out of the sheets:sneaky:
