Yes mine was 2012. If the rules have changed glad I didn't need the EAD in the beginning. When I did get one as part of the greencard process it was a combined AP/EAD. It took 2 months the first...

As an L2 I never applied for an EAD as I'm busy enough with 3 kids. Got my SSN no problem.
