Thanks Renth, we've got a pretty cool router http://www.sabaitechnology.com/RT-N66U-WiFi-VPN-Router-p/2-sn66u.htm which has both an open and a local VPN (not sure I have written this correctly!)...

Yes, we have two Roku accounts now and the UK one we set up whilst on the VPN and so it loaded UK channels into the box and the online account is set in GBP not dollars like our USA Roku account.
