Absolutely not trying to get in anyone's face with this but here is our situation years ago:

Husband entered with a valid K-1.

K-1's are authorized to work for the 90 days of the visa period.

So recommend that they go to a different social security office. So there might be a bit of a drive but the next town over will have an office.

By law she/he is entitled a social security...
