The grey is a nice color. I would definitely [re] that stunted tree from the front of the window. Either move it to the corner or leave it and plant shrubs/mini-trees in various downward sizes.

My sister had no problem with matching her laminate flooring with the wood used on the stairs. Apparently it is often done.

Curious why you are feeding them. Of course, they won't leave because it is easy picking. You seem to have enough wooded area that can provide deer and fox with their natural foodstuffs.
