Ours is around that too, but it's an insignificant cost on a foreign trip. We were in the UK and Europe for a month, and I think we only used ATMs 2-3 times (and most of that was to give the kids...

Nah, it's fine. We used our chip and sig ones in the UK, France and Holland last summer, and each time the machine knew what to do and spat out a paper slip for us to sign. Carry a pen, though - the...

She'll be able to use her US debit card to withdraw cash from an ATM. There'll be a small fee, but for one or two small withdrawals just to have some walking-around money, it won't be hardly anything.
