Definitely only 2.5 years ! Actually being here on Permits enabled us to make the right contacts. It's been a quick way to Residency.:D

Moving to Canada when you're old !

My wife and I were allowed into Canada in our 60's provided we invested in a business. We bought a B&B in Nova Scotia, came on Work Permits and now(after 21/2 years have Permanent Resident status....
