It's not difficult, you asked if we had air con and I said that didn't help if they wanted to go outside. Of course they went outside, they were kids but didn't really enjoy the heat and humidity. ...

:confused: They were born in Brisbane and lived their first 11 years there and now live in a temperate climate here. They have never been cocooned. My son was merely saying that when you get too hot...

Not here we dont. We had it in Brisbane but it didn't help the kids if they wanted to go outside.

Yes I was thinking the same thing, you can keep the heat over there. Going to be 21 in some places here today and its the 1st of November tomorrow, the shorts arent going anywhere just yet :)

Its weird, I am still in shorts and tshirt and outside it is actually quite 'warm'. I might get into December before the long trousers make an appearance :lol:

Yes it was a lovely day, as I said we didnt see much evidence of the 'big storm' where we are. Another lovely day today, a bit windy but sunny and warm.

Its rarely as bad as it is forecast or it is much worse, one or the other.

About 20 today I think with the possibility of some rain, it has been a beautiful summer and I have the feeling it isnt over yet. I definitely dont miss blazing hot days anymore.

Yes some areas have been hit really hard, there is localised flooding not far from us. I had to go past a car stopped in the road yesterday trying to decide whether to risk it or not. It's just water...

Still weirdly mild here, rain but no real flooding like others have seen. Unfortunately no snow but it snowed at our boys school the other day.

12c again, still weirdly mild and half way through winter and apart from a few days here and there and a couple of frosts we havent had a winter yet.
