Escape to the Country
Doc Martin
Fear the...

Re: Broadchurch and Other UK TV Programs

I've been thinking the same thing. I've watched all the Escape to the Country programs, all Miss Marple, all Lewis and Morse - at least all the free ones.

I do keep up with Coronation Street and...

Re: Broadchurch and Other UK TV Programs

Heartbeat and The Royal are two of my favorite UK shows - delightful! None of the heavy stress of the programs that are staged in more modern times.

I also like Lewis and Morse.

Yes, YouTube is great. I have watched some British shows on it, too. I forgot about it, so thanks for the reminder. :D

I like Heartbeat, too. I forgot about that series. I watched some episodes but not all of them. I must revisit it.

I will look for some of the others you mentioned, too.

As for Yorkshire, you...

Re: Broadchurch and Other UK TV Programs

I think you and I have similar taste in programs. ;)

I haven't watched Endeavor but must do that.

I don't watch TV at all but I do occasionally watch a movie on Hulu.com. Today I discovered they have a British page :)

Re: Broadchurch and Other UK TV Programs

Does anyone know where I can watch the "new" version of Upstairs Downstairs online? I know I can probably find it on YouTube but the length of videos is generally limited there, unless you have been...

Re: Broadchurch and Other UK TV Programs

I don't have cable TV anymore either. I did away with it three years ago and never really missed it. Then, about eighteen months ago, I got it back for a while and hardly watched it so I had it...

Re: Broadchurch and Other UK TV Programs

I have started to watch "The Royal" and "Heartbeat", a police drama and a hospital program both set in the 1960s in Yorkshire - great programs! (Although I say I don't watch USA TV, I do watch great...

Re: Broadchurch

I no longer read newspapers or watch news on TV. I don't go to news sites on the Internet unless I hear of a major catastrophe somewhere - and then I only glance at it.

I found it all much too...

Re: Broadchurch

I watched the first episode and part of the second. When I saw (and heard) kids throwing rocks at that little dog resulting in the poor thing's death, that was it for me. I don't support programs...
