Re: Victoria SMP (merged threads)

The reason why I mentioned this, is that it looks to be that some people are looking for the threshold value for the required funds. With no proof asked, I'm pretty sure that people are going to...

Re: Victoria SMP (merged threads)

Anyone have an idea for this question?

About re-applying, it says that I can re-apply after 6 months. Does this mean re-applying from the date of the last application or from the date of rejection...

Re: Victoria SMP (merged threads)

It's the same as mentioned by 'miss-chievous' about two pages ago. All that's different is the name and the SS application number.

Re: Victoria SMP (merged threads)

Do you mean your occupation is now in schedule 4 and not on schedule 3? I guess you meant an occupation on schedule 3, and therefore implies you get priority 3 processing.

Re: Victoria SMP (merged threads)

Looks like I was denied sponsorship today!

Reasons given were insufficient funds. I provided 13,800 AUD as funds and up to 5 relatives who I know in Melbourne. The relationship moreover was shown...

Re: Victoria SMP (merged threads)

I've observed, that the 176 SS application does not ask if you have done research. The questions are pretty straight forward and only asks to declare funds, relatives and family in Vic and whether...

Re: Victoria SMP (merged threads)

Yes, let's close this chapter on the resubmitting of the declaration form. It's virtually 2.5 pages on the same set of updates.

Re: Victoria SMP (merged threads)

I provided a new date (i.e. the day on which I signed it for the second time). I don't think it matters, its just a declaration. A date should be considered valid if it is anytime before the grant of...

Re: Victoria SMP (merged threads)

Wow, you sure wasted money.
Letter explicitly mentions "We do not require a hard copy of the document."

AS for the loss of the documents - I really think that some computer clumsy office guy...

I sent mine yesterday. Uploaded the originals. No where did it mention certified copies, so I assumed they were happy with the originals like the DIAC site.

Re: Funds and Victoria SMP

Re: Victoria SMP (merged threads)

Yup, the FAQ clearly indicates that English test is required. However the document check list says that IELTS results are not mandatory AT THE TIME OF APPLYING. Which means they will accept results...

Hello,

For the SMP application for Victoria, it asks that all forms of assets be declared. The problem is that it never specifies any amount. Its easy to declare cash assets by way of bank...
