Yes, I can see that by making the move here we seek to justify the losses by telling ourselves it's better for the children. In some ways it might be, however in other ways they miss out.

I assume well meaning relatives mean better than growing up and living in the UK. A few seem to think it would be a very bad thing for us to return. I know ultimately the decision is down to us...
