I prefer to call myself British as I have never had any other nationality, I think my father did the right thing given the current state of affairs. As for Sialkot, I take it you refer to the youtube...

Did you ask them when they received the referral ? It shouldn't take them more than six months.

She doesn't work for DIAC. What you should be aware of is that there is a 'Form 80H' completed by DIAC which forms part of the integrity/internal checks for HR applicants. The purpose of the Form 80,...

Furthermore:

ASIO is all about the Form 80, online applicants from low risk countries are generally not asked for it and the form is titled "Particulars for character assessment" for that reason....

Just to clear up a few points:

1) ASIO = 'External' or 'Routine' checks/processing. The external refers to "outside DIAC". However, a number of COs refer to these as "internal checks" as they are...
