Yes - I can well believe that. The Brexit referendum speaks to that - majority in England voted for Brexit (partly due to immigration - although I realize there were other reasons). Whereas Scotland...

I spent 6 days on the Isle of Skye back in 2015 and absolutely loved it. I stayed in Portree as my niece was living there at the time. Visited Dunvegan Castle, a distillery (can't remember the name)...

Actually the Scottish people were a lot more forward thinking than their English counterparts last summer. The majority of them voted to remain in the EU - against Brexit!

Very interesting! I've never been to Lewis. I spent 6 days in Skye last May - absolutely loved it!
