hi Im also from the Boro!! I did live in London but my family is in boro so i consider it home as well... Been here in USA - CA coming up 4 years...I really miss it - especially the town, Saltburn,...

It certainly is - just opposite the Marton Country Club. I had many a nights at the Cross when i was a wee lass moons ago!!!

We never got there boxing day - Hemsley instead. The weather was so mild!!!! We also went to the 16th century church - St Cuthberts in Ormesby and walked thro to Ormesby Hall

Oh the Black Swan - posh!!! We ate at the Feathers (I think) and DH loved the Edinbro Wool Shop (think its called that) but we couldnt find a decent cup of coffee in the place! Its a wonder you didnt...

Thank you so much! It is hard being so far away when parents/family etc are ill back in UK.Mum is 84 so my fingers are crossed for her better health next year.
