Yes, lots of people have had the same message. As you are applying from Nigeria your application will have additional scrutiny. You just have to be patient while they go through their enquiries.

You have to be earning 18,600 GBP per annum and since you will start earning this from July 2018, you must wait until you have been in the job for 6 months before applying i.e you have 6 month's...

Applying for an EU Family permit gives you permission to live and work in the UK with your EU spouse/partner - it can lead to settlement.

The longest I have heard of someone waiting for an EU permit is 12 weeks.

However, you are applying from Albania - so your application will be coming under additional scrutiny.

No it is not.

The process from 2012 has been quite clearly set out - an initial visa for 2.5 years, followed by a further 2.5 visa and then one can apply for Indefinite leave to Remain.

Yes.... the initial visa is for 2.5 years, then you obtain a further 2.5 year visa and then you can apply for ILR.

The ECO's are under no obligation to ask for additional documentation, especially if they feel that it would not make much difference to the outcome of the application.
