If we want to be technical, then, no. The left-hand limit is -∞; the right-hand limit is ∞; the two being different dictates the overall limit does not exist.

Close, but not quite.

A limit can certainly equal infinity - it's just an alternative way of writing 1/(x-8) →∞. The problem here is that the limit differs depending on which side you approach x=8...

Ahhh, good old tag-lee-a-telly (this happens in Oz too) :lol:

Whereas at home, the errors are usually just customers, in the US it seems more universal. Trying to order gnocchi here is like trying...
