Thank you Oatcake but if you are staying at Talegaon the above info. will not apply as it is 40km north of Pune city. A separate town within Pune district and being newly developed.

The question was about Pune particularly. Those who work there to give household help are not "servile", they work on their own terms, there are standards of pay etc.
