Flood likely to peak in Brisbane CBD on Thursday, Suburbs are a little TBD ... Northside seems to have copped it more at the moment but it aint over yet ... Will be ongoing for a while yet ...

The main problem is there is only one road out and this has been know to be impassable so my timing has to be, how to put this ... a little on the conservative side of 'oops'.

I have a friend there and he isn't too worried but he is on the relatively higher ground ... will all depend on where they are situated I guess.

Indeed, going to last for a while, they say next Friday is a flashpoint and that is without factoring in more rain ...

Yeh, they said it would be an active cyclone season a few months ago ... nothing imminent though and these things cannot be predicted accurately so we can only deal with what is on our plates at the...
