Maybe we/I don't feel the telly issue too badly as we have (practically) the full sky package. I suppose it depends on what takes your fancy:). We like the programmes you don't, e.g."Jungle"...

When back in UK, we were both working silly shifts and didn't get a great deal of time to watch telly. But, since being in France (particularly during the winter months) we watch waaaay too much. ...
