experienced what? it should be the same code ofcourse.. here in case of ebanster, if im not wrong, he has his assessment in ASCO code 2231-79 which has expired. This is mapped to ANZSCO...

you can do that if you are sure to get your new letter in 28 days. The current probability for a CO to be assigned in 28 days and even before that is quite high when you are doing a 176 application....

its better not to waste further time and efforts on this, you might as well utilize the efforts on checking if you have other states which you can apply/ other options..

I honestly think that those awaiting sponsorships from Nov onwards should start looking for other backup plans, other SMPs/re-assessments to an SOL 3 occupation/one more attempt at IELTS. I guess...

are you kidding? an ack mail is just an email from them to confirm that they have started looking into your sponsorship application and nothing else..

mate, acknowledgement mail is not a positive sign of getting an approval, just be patient - anyone who applies for Victoria sponsorship will get an acknowledgement mail..

VIC does not send any hardcopy for approval, all you get is the approval email which you need to provide as evidence with your 176 application..

If VIC approves your application, you SHOULD NOT use a new assessment to lodge 176. You should use only the ASCO code for which you have been approved by VIC.

There is no formal appeal process for VIC as far as I know, you can always mail them with further details but dont keep a lot of hope in doing so

can you not make up with another IELTS attempt? you were only short of .5 for one module in your first attempt.. im sure you are not very far..

hard luck mate.. you can probably assume that funds was the reason, what you declared is less if you compare with other states who actually have a minimum funds specification..

For instance, if im not wrong, NSW requires 25K for individual and $5 K for additional family member..this should give you a fair idea of their expectations.. if not equal, I beleive it should be...

You should have done a research of how much the states who specify the amount require applicants to declare - i think 5000 AUD is way too less, I guess VIC is smart enough not to specify an exact...

Hi, is this an extract of the email they sent informing your rejection? or is this a reply mail from VIC for a fund related query that you asked them? How have you concluded that insufficient funds...

did they tell you explicitly that you should not be sending it by email, well I had sent mine by email when they requested it

I dont think you need to worry too much about this, because the status is not updated anyway. They get in touch with you through email if they require any clarification, and the approval email is...
