Re: 489 Visa Granted; Thanks for the help.

I understand that English is not your first language, but it is very hard to decipher your original post.

Anyhow, visa processing takes as long as it takes, and even published guidelines can only...

Re: 489 Visa Granted; Thanks for the help.

DIBP verify your employment - when that...

Re: 489 Visa Granted; Thanks for the help.

1. On the basis that no one will stamp a visa ??? it will take forever. Visa's are attached electronically to your passport. It'll take as long as it takes but the fact that you've been asked to...

I've removed your number as it's not a good idea to post in open forum. If you want to give another member your contact info, you can do so via the private messaging available on the site (click on a...

Re: 489 Visa Granted; Thanks for the help.

You can read hami's other posts to see she is an engineer. She hasn't posted when she was invited to apply from what I've read, but did medicals at the end of September.

How exactly does this...

Re: 489 Visa Granted; Thanks for the help.

No one is going to be able to tell you how long it takes. There are guidelines on DIBP website but it is a guide and you have already passed that.

If all required documents have been uploaded then...

Re: 489 Visa Granted; Thanks for the help.

Well, the state in question may not have much employment - or a climate you don't like - or housing is too expensive - or any number f other reasons

Re: 489 Visa Granted; Thanks for the help.

No, I'd have to google it. But I wouldn't be choosing a state by whether or not they have a fee.

Re: 489 Visa Granted; Thanks for the help.

Some states you can apply direct to but not sure if it can be done before EOI lodged but it is possible. Is your agent MARA registered?

Re: 489 Visa Granted; Thanks for the help.

I'm not sure with state nomination if they ask about spouse English.

With DIBP, if you get an invitation and your wife still does not have required score, you select then that you will pay the...

Re: 489 Visa Granted; Thanks for the help.

Have you checked DIBP site? Off the top of my head, it used to be around $2500 if English requirement is not met by spouse (and other adult dependants)

Re: 489 Visa Granted; Thanks for the help.

Some states will select your application from the EOI pool and invite you to apply for nomination, and for others you need to apply direct.

If you are applying for 489 FS, your occupation must be...

Re: 489 Visa Granted; Thanks for the help.

If you already meet DIBP criteria (skills assessment and proof of English ability) to lodge EOI, then that would be your next step. NSW select from EOI pool I believe but check their website for more...

Re: 489 Visa Granted; Thanks for the help.

It looks like it :)

You would have to check that your occupation is on their list, and wait for an invitation to apply for nomination after lodging / editing EOI as you cannot apply direct to NSW.

Re: 489 Visa Granted; Thanks for the help.

Do you have enough points for 190?

If so, I think you can edit the EOI to include this option or lodge a second EOI

Re: 489 Visa Granted; Thanks for the help.
