If I had to choose between being financially struggling in the UK, or being financially struggling in NZ; my choice would be NZ.

The ease of getting out and enjoying the outdoors in the UK is something I miss. I adore, and hope to do again one day, the coastal footpath in Cornwall. Also, the properties of the National Trust....

Scotch bonnets were for sale at the local market on Sunday - 50c each. I was tempted, but maybe next time - doesn't really fit my meal plans for this week.

Yes, I had a plant - I bought it growing in a pot, then when it fruited, saved the seeds - is why I have plenty. It was/is top notch. Will be planting again soon. you're welcome to a few if you like,...

Nice. and $20 for a huge feed. I heard it is about as authentic as you are likely to find in NZ.

I've bought seeds before in NZ. I'll have a look when I'm home and see where I got them from - it was online somewhere and I bought about 20 different types of seeds inc. some quite unusual ones.

The UK is a better place to live than NZ because the cost of your shopping basket is lots less.

Amazingly, for me, that's not the case. Incredibly I knew that and moved from the shopping paradise...

Yes, that should do it. You might not get overseas holidays on that alone, but living in Auckland, you should be sweet as.
