Re: Broadchurch and Other UK TV Programs

Re: Broadchurch and Other UK TV Programs

Sally Wainwright is an amazing writer having written both Last Tango in Halifax and Happy Valley. I think her writing of the Celia character is harsh but I suspect it is leading some where. I have...

It covers the true story of...

Re: Broadchurch and Other UK TV Programs

It is very grim - lots of violence and - IMHO - swearing which - again IMHO - just distracts. I really wanted to like but gave up 2/3 of the way through the first series - and after watching the 1st...

Re: Broadchurch and Other UK TV Programs

Isn't it more about the extraordinary life he lived though - and how he defied - and still is defying - expectations rather then about his Mothers worry which may be a small part of it as Neil...

Re: Broadchurch and Other UK TV Programs

It's based on a true story so the outcome is already known :). It will be interesting how they portray the story - hopefully with little sympathy for the murderer!!

Re: Broadchurch and Other UK TV Programs

They did say 'To be continued' and they have already said there will be a second series so we will have to see where it goes. I was rather disappointed as I don't quite see how they can continue with...

Re: Broadchurch and Other UK TV Programs
