That masculine, feminine thing has always mildly irritated me, I still get it wrong, I asked my OH to pass "i noci" "le noci" I was corrected, oh just pass the bloody walnuts at least we have a name...

I agree with Bricwood that speaking both Italian and English doesn't necessarily qualify a person to teach. IMHO, teaching is an art. Have you thought of getting Quotidiano di Lecce on a Sunday,...

I think it's OK to say "allora secondo lei/voi/te/loro" meaning in your/their opinion/according to your/their point of view.

Gli - It was likened to the sound hall-yard (the middle part ll followed by y) when I was taught it, the rolling r is very difficult, you sort of trill your tongue.
