I raced home on my pushy tonight to beat the storm as the sky looked ominous and then the bloody thing petered out, typical :lol:

I would doubt it....the water would be warmer where you are I would imagine. The use of swimming pools is shorter in Perth according to friends.

Very pleasant weekend here in Brisbane...hear the southerners are sending us more of their miserable weather again soon as back down to 21c tomorrow ;)

Colder overall than the Gold Coast I think....shorter warm season...they don't get to use pools etc for as long in Perth compared to SEQ. Also doesn't have the dry, comparatively warm winter that SEQ...

First bit of my commute is a cycle up waterworks rd footpath...it's not normally too bad but the road was chokka this morning and I raced past them all. I of course was too noble to take advantage of...

Yeah far worse this year imo...can tell when my elec bill is 30% higher than last year due solely to air con use. Started way earlier than usual and finishing way later...also more constant. My wife...

Been a bad, long summer this year...you did well to miss it. We used almost 30% more electricity this summer compared to last as air con use has gone from < 10 times to many dozens...

Didn't even get that one day of 41 near Brisbane itself luckily...think it topped out at 38 around us. I think beaudesert, ipswich and some parts north got it though.

Yes cooler today, made for a lot more pleasant bicycle commute. Pool was 28c today still (overnight cloud cover I guess) so was lovely jumping in with the kids after work without any toe dipping...

From a sweltering 38c in my part of Brisbane yesterday to a more reasonable predicted 33c today, looking forward to the more normal 28c on Thursday.
