Some times, having British citizenship is not good.
You can give it back if you want, just hold on to one of your EU passports.

I think if you have no savings.
Then you if you lose your job, then I think your now outside the conditions of her visa.
I think that means your wife would have to return to China.

So start asking your mum, dad, brother, sister, aunties and uncles, to start making deposits (that they can do without for a while) into an account held by you.

Correct,

Providing you have a job, grossing £18600 pa, then savings are not needed.

They are helpful of course, but not needed.

£18600 is £360 a week, not really a huge amount, but still,...

About £1000 or so in UKBA back pocket if you go spouse visa.

Why not just get a job, any job, in any EEA country.
after the 3 months, apply family permit.

Either stay or move on to UK.
