What seems to be the confusion??Already stated that it is not possible to travel by train to South West at night.You will need to clarify what it is you want to do.

Certainly should be a few giant steps up from Blackburn for sure.

What is usually meant is the entire metropolitan area.I lot of areas can look harmless enough but it is hard to say.
Rockingham can be dodgy at night, a lot is caused by people coming from out side...

Besides a few central areas few people walk on the streets after dark(or any time for that matter)in Perth.
As for the train try and board the carriage where the security are located and you should...

Not at all sure that NZ would be any better.Agree largely on Perth comments..Am personally thinking of trying Melbourne..visiting next Feb.

Don't actually find that the papers over report crime here at all.Perhaps if anything it is the opposite and put a spin on how wonderful the life style is in Perth and omit any or many references to...

Trains are fairly safe what with security on most after seven in the evening.
Although as so few travel at night if a drunk(s) or someone looking for bother or even just being a nuisance there is...
