me too, though it was just a few days before the email for sponsorship approved (several weeks after it had actually arrived)

I can appreciate that providing the absolute best service for a bunch...

Decision made for me today!

ECAS now says they started processing on March 11th (though ECAS didnt change till today) and a decision was made on my application

Can someone please update the...

when the file is in london, use the surname of the principle applicant and the file number

yes, ecas is not reliable. lots of people get their visa without ever going In process on ecas

emailed them yesterday afternoon, and they replied to say that my file is still waiting for review.

they received it in London 29th October (spousal approval 16th oct)

hopefully soon........

the copr just turns up in the mail (the status wont change again)

most people dont get a passport request, just COPR. The COPR is the end of the process

yes and yes. You can change to visitor status online if you need to but i think there is plenty of time for PR to arrive

try the independent shops - usually around 8 photos for 5 quid to fit what ever specification sheet you give them.

This is also the cheapest way in Canada where photos are much more expensive than...

you are the principal applicant (not the canadian). You dont need to pay anything for your girlfriend so no family member fee

you get your PR at toronto. I dont think you need to notify immigration in London of anything if your paperwork has all been processed

it still says this in the Country Specific Instructions.

"Persons submitting their application to the Canadian visa office in Paris must complete the attached IMM 5562 form, Supplementary...

half of it is missing. look at the numbers on the left hand side. Most of the commonlaw people have been deleted (me included)
