You are allowed to VISIT the USA for up to 90 days without a visa (Visa Waiver Program or VWP). If that's what you did, you were not LIVING in the USA as you stated. You were visiting.

What visa did you have that permitted you to live in the USA for 3 months, and why can you not use it again?
