Re: Excellent credit rating, what will happen to it in the states?

I can't remember if it's still true, but at one time Amex was reporting the length of your relationship with Amex as the time you had had credit with themm So if you had held an Amex card in the UK...

Re: Excellent credit rating, what will happen to it in the states?

I am not interested in fighting shadows. Please post what you see in CK, then we can discuss it. ..... I am guessing that CK talks about your ability to get credit, which is exactly what I said in...

Re: Excellent credit rating, what will happen to it in the states?

You're welcome. :)

Note: with a car loan, typically the monthly payment is fixed, so if the payment is $250/mth on a $20,000 loan, it will remain at $250/mth if you pay off $16,000, and the...

Re: Excellent credit rating, what will happen to it in the states?

Re: Excellent credit rating, what will happen to it in the states?

Re: Excellent credit rating, what will happen to it in the states?

No it doesn't. None of those three have anything to do with your credit score.

They will affect your ability to get loans/credit, but that is not the same as impacting your credit score.

Re: Excellent credit rating, what will happen to it in the states?

You clearly don't understand how credit scores work in the US; they certainly aren't a "scam". Your credit score reflects the likelihood of you defaulting on a loan, and so credit card balances are...

Re: Excellent credit rating, what will happen to it in the states?

I think he's talking about a car loan being a secured loan. ..... In other words you can often get a car loan even with junk credit rating. The rate will be high though.

Re: Excellent credit rating, what will happen to it in the states?

That can be easier said than done when typically you sign up for "a Nissan Altima, or similar, "a Chevy Cruze, or similar", etc.

Re: Excellent credit rating, what will happen to it in the states?

So it's old, but fairly low mileage. .... Do you know how far away the moon is?

Re: Excellent credit rating, what will happen to it in the states?

Which is why I am commuting in a car that is almost 15 years old and has been to the moon and is nearly half way back. It does the job, and I have no car payment. :)

Re: Excellent credit rating, what will happen to it in the states?
