The estimate of the time and labour required to pack things and load and unload the container is also a major component of the total cost of shipping. Some people do much of the packing work...

NTSC full power transmitters went off air on June 12, 2009 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NTSC), and most lower power NTSC transmitters went off air on September 1, 2015.

Even if US TV's can...

:goodpost: That (all points) is exactly what I would recommend.

Using an adapter is not a safe solution. It might serve as a stop-gap solution but you should switch to UK plugs or leads ASAP...

The information on what sort of mains power the computer, or in deed any electrical appliance, will work on must be clearly marked on the case of the appliance. And in the event of a mismatch...

Look at the spec plate! ..... What does it say?

Not sure if that picture you posted is the same one you're talking about here? :unsure:

Look at the spec plate on the back, it should say "50Hz-60Hz", which means the device can work on either frequency.

While NTSC and PAL have both gone away, the US and UK implemented incompatible...
