Re: What I like about America. [A politics-free thread]

Re: What I like about America. [A politics-free thread]

Re: What I like about America. [A politics-free thread]

After Alfa started zinc dipping the bodies the rust problems disappeared. Mine, a 1989, was rust free except for a spot on one wheel arch where it had been dinged. The odd thing was that when I...

With a 3.0 V6, in a slate blue, and it was awesome. :) I bought it when it was nine years...

Re: What I like about America. [A politics-free thread]

I used to get a kick out of tripping GATSOs when I was going in the opposite direction to the way the camera faced.

Re: What I like about America. [A politics-free thread]

There is an unofficial record for lapping the M25, and I believe it got down to an hour about 20 years ago. For 117 miles that means doing large chunks of the distance at 130+ mph.

From what I...

Re: What I like about America. [A politics-free thread]

That was exactly how I came to notice - I was keeping an eye on the progression of the phases of the lights and knew to put my phone away as our phase approached!

Re: What I like about America. [A politics-free thread]

Yeah, I noticed, as on the previous cycle of the lights I was seventh in line and ready to tailgate through on the tail end if all the cars ahead of me hooked up like a train, but I was cautious...

Re: What I like about America. [A politics-free thread]

I was waiting yesterday morning, second in line at a very quick-changing left filter light. The driver was distracted (I could tell from her head movements), and I think focused on a computer, phone...

Re: What I like about America. [A politics-free thread]

Eating is a common passtime for Americans while they're driving, but I was startled a few years ago to see a woman driving an SUV at around 50mph in heavy traffic on a narrow laned (federal minimim...

Re: What I like about America. [A politics-free thread]

Re: What I like about America. [A politics-free thread]

Yes it is. You have three main interstates running through your end of MA: 90, which is east-west, and 93 & 95, which are north- south.

Then you have 495, which is a bypass, 395, which branches...

Re: What I like about America. [A politics-free thread]

I think your interpretation is off, generally an extra digit gets added to the front of the main interstate number that the side branch or loop is connected to - there are a couple of Wikipedia pages...
