The problem is that when you are further from home, and furthest from civilization (however you want to define that), is when most people would want their cell phone to work.

They're still advertising, in my neck of the woods, as being much cheaper than Verizon and AT&T. :confused:

I don't know about "better", as they are generally considered to have poorer coverage than Verizon and AT&T, especially once you leave built-up areas, but T-Mobile is almost certainly going to be...

I am not sure how much of that is still true. Verizon has been transitioning its data network to LTE (the successor to GSM) since 2010, and for voice since 2014. While the CDSM network still...
