For "store cards" such as Lowes or Home Depot that offer "same as cash" interest free deals, yes, but for regular VISA or M/C, no, at the end of the interest free period you just start getting...

What Nurek said, with the caveat that you are on track to pay the card balances down to zero before, or very soon after the cards start charging interest.
