Mind you this grater was really sharp and a treat to use - just possibly too good at it's job. It's one of those that's about €20 and comes with a protective plastic cover - much better...

:) mmm another day another finger hurt in Italy. I'm not really allowed to wash up glass by hand after the glass in finger incident, now not allowed super-sharp graters without an adult in...

I'll give a go. I can't remember the price but I don't think it was much. Had problems with the last risotto I made - grated a piece of my finger into the cheese and used a jar of mushrooms in oil...

I've seen a packet mix next to the risotto rice in the supermarkets. It's called (I think) Zafferano). Has any of you tried this - is it actually to be added into risotto and is it good? Thanks

The delivery time sounds good - 2 days to get here and I'll bet it did make your birthday :D

I looked at BCS last week but seeing as all I wanted was chocolate it would have been an expensive...

Thanks for this info:) Interesting about Chamonix because next weekend we're off skiing at Pila so not too far away. We've been to Pila before and the large supermarket near the ski-lifts sold...

TestaRossa - Ages ago you wrote that a shop in Florence sells Cadburys chocolate (British Shop?). Do you know if it still does cos I'm getting desperate :( Hubby has said I cannot go to the UK...
