Yes! either case you have to do IELTS, so what's that point in worrying?

Go for the remark and hope for the best, if they increase it then it's Jackpot!! if not re-take the exam, simple as that. ...

It takes nearly 13 weeks to get the re-mark results, given the circumstances in my opinion it would be better to go for the re-mark option if you have spare time to wait and see.
