Cool Advice appreciated:Marriage regulations,in Norway?

Hi,
Im hoping someone can throw some lite,on the rules/regulations e.t.c. regarding MARRIAGE IN NORWAY!..

Im an English chap happily living in Norway,my reason for coming here, was to be with my Norwegian fiance, settle down and find work?

I am here under the EEA european agreement(free movement of labour: can stay 6 months(if registered ) e.t.c.

I have being unable to date to find work! and i have to leave Norway every 6 months, and return. im in a bit of a no-mans land?

My fiance and I think we should get married, sooner rather than later? then at least i will have a Norwegian status..

what we would love to ask is,:

A: do we require any particular paperwork to get married in Norway?

B:what kind of permit will i be given after we are married?

C:what benefits will above permit give me?

We have enquired with the authourities here in Norway, but to be honest the imformation is somewhat confusing, and lacking in any specific detail!

any help very much appreciated.

best wishes Steve Sylvester
