Default Help!!! Please.

My Daughter has just been offered a job in Stockholm and is looking to move over there with her boyfriend. She has just finished Uni and this is a big step for her.

The problem is we don't know anything about Sweden/Stockholm at all.

First off we need to look for a residence for her. She wont be on mega bucks so it needs to be affordable.

Any advise such as desirable/non desirable areas recommendations, info about the public transport system etc.. would all be gratefully received.

Thanks in anticipation

Given the current housing situation in Sweden as a whole and Stockholm in particular (it's been like this for 25 years), I'd guess that your chances of finding affordable housing are slim to anorexic.

Doesn't sound too promising. What is the housing situation in Sweden?

Have found a couple of sites that seem to offer something in the region of 600SKR. Looks like its going to be tough!!

But from what I understand Stockholm is really difficult. Does she have to live in Stockholm. There are plenty of options in easy commute (by rail).

My son (a Norwegian resident) is currently looking for accommodation and a job in Stockholm. without success. We've just been over staying with him and his girlfriend east of Oslo, and they're feeling a bit desperate at the moment, since she's committed to attending a school there later this month.
